In this post, we will briefly examine our personality in Christ as believers.

#1 I (the old man) am dead in Christ. Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;

#2 I am a new creation (I am not who I use to be, regardless of what I feel or do) 2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

#3 I am righteous (not because of what I do, but because God created righteous) 2 Corinthians 5:21

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, what we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Ephesians 4:24 put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness

#4 I am delivered from darkness.

 Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love

#5 I am more then a conquer (when God is on your side there is nothing you can’t do) Romans 8:37

in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

#6 I am a son of God (not later but now) 1 John 3:2

Beloved, now are we the sons of God,

#7 I am a partaker of the divine nature (through the new birth I am one with the Father)

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,

#8 I am loved of the Father (He loves me just like He loved Jesus)

John 17:23 You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

#9 I am a joint heir of Christ (He and I have an equal Inheritance)

Romans 8:17 if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ

#10 I am an heir of God (I Inherited God and all that He is) Romans 8:17
